New Grant Opportunities: Gorlin Syndrome Challenge Grant and Consensus Grant Program
August 25, 2026 – Together with its partners, PeDRA is pleased to announce the launch of two grant programs through its Grants and Fellowships Program.
PeDRA has partnered with the Gorlin Syndrome Alliance (GSA) to launch the 2026 GSA-PeDRA Gorlin Syndrome Challenge Grant, supporting research focused on improving the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and quality of life of children with Gorlin syndrome. Investigators are encouraged to submit innovative basic, translational, clinical, epidemiologic, or patient-centered research addressing critical gaps in pediatric basal cell carcinoma care. One award of up to $25,000 will support one year of research. Applications are due December 3, 2026.
In collaboration with the Society for Pediatric Dermatology (SPD), PeDRA is thrilled to launch the 2026 Consensus Grant Program, supporting the development of evidence-based guidelines, best practice recommendations, and consensus treatment plans for pediatric skin diseases. The program aims to address gaps in care and reduce variability in treatment practices by supporting rigorous, collaborative consensus efforts. Applicants may request $10,000 with centralized project management from PeDRA or $25,000 without centralized support. Applications are due December 3, 2026.
