The PeDRA Mentorship Program supports trainees, early-career, and mid-career clinician-scientists seeking to strengthen their pediatric dermatology research skills and expand their professional networks. Mentor-mentee pairs connect regularly—via email, phone, or in person—with at least three required meetings each year. PeDRA staff and the Early Investigator Committee support the program through curated resources, Virtual Mentorship Mingles, and ongoing communications.
This program focuses on building pediatric dermatology research knowledge and skills and does not provide residency-matching guidance or guarantee a research project.
This year, we welcome our first class of the Medical Student Research Cohort, created in response to unprecedented interest in the PeDRA mentorship program and is designed to support medical students interested in pediatric dermatology research.
