The 2026 PeDRA Annual Conference will take place at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, located at 5000 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA 22311. We recommend that attendees fly in and out of the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA).
We also encourage attendees to stay on site at the Conference Hotel and take advantage our special room rates. The deadline to reserve your room is September 13, 2026, and rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis.

All medical students and research fellows interested in attending the 2026 PeDRA Annual Conference must apply for and be accepted into the NextGen Research Forum.
Now in it’s 6th year, the Annual NextGen Research Forum provides accepted medical students and research fellows with an opportunity to expand their networks, develop relevant skills, and present their research during the Conference. The Forum is co-chaired by Elena Hawryluk, MD, PhD of Harvard University, and Joseph Lam, MD of the University of British Columbia, along with other faculty moderators.

Celebrating its 6th anniversary, the NextGen Research Forum invites medical students, research fellows and recent graduates who are unmatched to an engaging evening of connection and conversation. This year’s event will feature an open discussion with leading faculty on “Paving the Pathway to a Career in Pediatric Dermatology.” Medical students and research fellows will gain valuable insights, ask questions, and explore career trajectories in an informal, welcoming setting. Need help covering conference costs? PeDRA is proud to offer Travel Scholarships to help offset the cost of travel for eligible PeDRA Early Investigators, Residents, and PeDRA Community Members (please see eligibility on the form for specific details). Scholarships will be awarded following an application and competitive review process, depending on availability of funds and the merit of applications received.

Camp Wonder at PeDRA will take place during the 2026 PeDRA Annual Conference on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 10:30 AM (local time) at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, located at 5000 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA 22311. This FREE event is organized by the Children’s Skin Disease Foundation. Camp Wonder provides a special experience for pediatric attendees during the PeDRA Conference.

Driving most of PeDRA’s research and organized by disease-specific research areas, our Focused Study Groups (FSGs) are collaborative teams of clinician-scientists who work together to generate new research ideas, deepen understanding of childhood skin diseases, and improve outcomes for patients and their families. By selecting an FSG, you can direct your fundraising efforts toward a specific area of childhood skin disease research that matters most to you—helping accelerate discoveries and advance care for children with skin disease.
