January 14, 2025 – In keeping with PeDRA’s ongoing commitment to advancing research that will improve the lives of children with skin disease, PeDRA is thrilled to announce the recipients of three competitive 2024 grant programs and open applications for two 2025 grant programs.
Three investigators have received funding through the 2024 PeDRA Research Grants and Career Bridge Research Grant programs, as well as the William Weston Career Development Award. Research Grants are given to support early-stage research projects to lay the foundation for larger-scale studies in the future, while the Career Bridge Research Grant is intended to support one mid-career investigator in the conduct of an innovative research study in the field of pediatric dermatology. Run in partnership with the Society for Pediatric Dermatology (SPD), the William Weston Career Development Award aims to support one early career investigator in the conduct of an innovative research study under the direction of a senior mentor.
