About the Dash
Whether you’re a seasoned runner, leisurely walker, or yoga enthusiast, the PeDRA Dash for Discovery annual hybrid event offers the perfect opportunity to support PeDRA’s mission to create, inspire, and sustain research to prevent, treat, and cure childhood skin disease and improve the lives of children with skin disease while staying healthy and having fun!
The 2024 Dash was a hybrid event, and took place virtually from Friday, October 18 to Sunday, October 27, 2024, and in person on Saturday, October 26, during the 2024 PeDRA Annual Conference in Phoenix, AZ. Thanks to the generosity of 32 donors and 8 sponsoring patient advocacy groups, the 2024 Dash raised over $5,000 to support research in childhood skin diseases!
Event Options
In-Person Events
In-person runners, walkers, and yoga enthusiasts joined fellow conference attendees in the morning on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel in Phoenix, AZ. In-person participants were eligible to sign up for the following events:
- 5K Fun Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- Flow into Yoga
Virtual Events
Virtual runners and walkers joined us from afar and were invited complete their races anywhere, anytime between Friday, October 18 to Sunday, October 27, 2024. Virtual participants we eligible to sign up for the following events:
- 5K Fun Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
Fundraising Opportunity
Thank you to all the individuals who helped us fundraise for the 2024 Dash!
Dash participants had the opportunity to use the 2024 Dash to raise funds in support of pediatric dermatology research. Participants could form a team or raise funds on their own. Those who raised $250 received a PeDRA Dash for Discovery Athletic Running Belt!
