Early Investigator (EI) Forum: Crafting Your Career Priorities
About the Forum
Now in its ninth year, the Annual Early Investigator (EI) Forum continues to bring together early investigators* with an interest in pediatric dermatology, providing a platform for networking and professional development. This year’s theme will focus on Crafting Your Career Priorities, offering attendees valuable insights and resources tailored to their career stage.
The EI Forum will kick off with a reception on Thursday evening, October 24, featuring Jen Schoch, MD, leading an engaging game of “Workforce Trivia.” On Friday morning, October 25, attendees can look forward to insights from three faculty members who have pursued diverse career paths and research priorities. Panelists will discuss how they negotiated for their research time, upheld their personal core values, and advocated for their patients through research. Attendees will also have the chance to participate in breakout sessions to develop their own personal “strategic plan” and engage with our panelists.
*Early investigators include residents, pediatric dermatology clinical fellows, and early investigators who are less than seven years out of training.
