2026 Conference Travel Scholarships
Need help covering conference costs? PeDRA is proud to offer Travel Scholarships to help offset the cost of travel for eligible PeDRA Early Investigators, PeDRA Trainees, and PeDRA Community Members (please see eligibility below for specific details). Scholarships will be awarded following an application and competitive review process, depending on availability of funds and the merit of applications received.
The deadline to apply for a Travel Scholarship is 11:59 PM PT on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

Eligibility
Who should apply for a Travel Scholarship:
- PeDRA Early Investigators (Active Members less than 7-years post training)
- PeDRA Community Members (parents, caregivers, patients, and advocates)
- PeDRA Trainees (Trainee members who do not fit in the categories below)
Who should NOT apply (these groups receive automatic support):
- Pediatric Dermatology Clinical Fellows: Do not apply for travel scholarships. Clinical fellows who are current PeDRA members in good standing and enrolled in ACGME-accredited pediatric dermatology fellowship programs for the 2025–26 or 2026–27 academic years will automatically receive complimentary registration and a travel stipend. Please fill out this form to receive your free registration code for conference and register for conference by Thursday, October 1, 2026.
- Medical Students and Research Fellows: Do not apply for travel scholarships. Instead, apply to the NextGen Research Forum by Thursday, July 2, 2026. Those accepted into conference will receive free registration and a travel stipend.
Important Information
- 2026 PeDRA Annual Conference Travel Scholarships will:
- Waive the registration fee for Travel Scholarship recipients.
- Award $595 to cover travel expenses to attend the 2026 PeDRA Annual Conference for those traveling to Alexandria or $100 to cover expenses for local attendees (within 50 miles of the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center).
- Applicants may apply for a Travel Scholarship before or after registering for conference. If an awarded applicant already registered for conference, they will receive a reimbursement for their registration fees.
- All applicants will be asked to submit a statement of interest outlining why you want to attend the 2026 PeDRA Annual Conference and how a 2026 Travel Scholarship will support your participation, or further your pediatric dermatology research goals.
- All non-local recipients are strongly encouraged to stay at the conference hotel, the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. Attendees may use the conference app message board to connect with other attendees interested in sharing a room. Attendees will receive notification when the conference app is available.
- Interested in a Travel Scholarship but not approved as a PeDRA member? Select “non-member (application pending)” below while your membership application is under review. Click here to apply or renew your membership.
Important Dates and Deadlines
- Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT: Deadline to apply for a Travel Scholarship
- Thursday, July 23, 2026: Award applicants will be notified of their Travel Scholarship and will receive a special code to register for conference
