Grants and Fellowships Communication Guidelines

Congratulations on the selection of your project for funding through a PeDRA Grant or Fellowship!

The PeDRA Grants and Fellowships Communication Guidelines offer guidance on language to convey the unique nature of your funding support through PeDRA. You are not required to use the templates below word for word, but we hope you find it helpful as you develop your own announcements and acknowledge funding received through PeDRA when sharing your work and presenting in the future.

Every PeDRA Grant and Fellowship has a descriptive page on PeDRA’s Grants and Fellowships page. Recipients are encouraged to acknowledge their funding support in all presentations and by listing their award on a CV, biosketch, personal website, and in an email signature (see examples below).

PeDRA will also release a news story and social posts announcing the recipients of grants and fellowships. News stories can be found on PeDRA’s News Archive page and social posts can be found on your preferred platform. Awardees are encouraged to share this exciting news with their communities via email and/or social media (see Social Media guidelines below).

Presentation Guidelines

Please acknowledge the funding received through PeDRA in the acknowledgment (or funding, if applicable) section of an abstract, poster or paper, or on the final slide of a presentation. When appropriate, you are also encouraged to acknowledge your working group, project team, or specific individuals.
