Lara Wine Lee, MD, PhD

Dr. Lara Wine Lee is originally from the Washington, DC area. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University. She completed the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed general pediatrics residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia prior to her dermatology residency at the University of Pennsylvania. She subsequently completed fellowship training in pediatric dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She joined the dermatology and pediatrics departments at MUSC in 2014. At MUSC she is the director of clinical research for the Department of Dermatology where she guides a robust clinical trials program and a research fellowship as well as mentoring students in the Masters of Science in Clinical Research program. She also serves at the Associate Residency Program Director and the Director of the Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship Program.  Her clinical interests include general pediatric dermatology with specialty interests in pediatric inflammatory skin conditions, vascular anomalies, and genetic skin disorders. 

    John Browning, MD, FAAD, FAAP, MBA

    Dr. Browning obtained his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he was a member of AOA. He completed a pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and then another residency in dermatology, also at Baylor College of Medicine where he was Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Baylor and Texas Children’s Hospital in 2008.

    Dr. Browning is a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics and dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine and adjunct faculty at UT Health San Antonio as well as UIW School of Medicine. He also serves as the Chief of Dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

    Dr. Browning is the founder of Texas Dermatology and Laser Specialists where he sees patients, teaches, and is heavily involved in clinical research trials.
