The PeDRA Mentorship program is designed to foster meaningful relationships between early investigators and more senior leaders in the field. Participants are asked to meet at least once/quarter to discuss a variety of topics. These relationships can help advance research and career development as well as provide professional connections.
How it works:
PeDRA’s mentorship program is a 2 year, 1:1 program. Mentees and mentors are carefully matched based on a compatibility survey submitted by both mentor and mentee applicants. Mentors and mentees meet at least once per quarter about a variety of topics. The Early Investigator Committee sends a quarterly, informal newsletter to each participating member with discussion ideas, resources, and other information to help forge this important relationship.
The next cycle will kick off in June of 2019. If you would like to be considered as a mentor or mentee for the 2019 program, please email Jenn Dawson, PeDRA Outreach and Membership Liaison; she will contact you when it’s time to apply.
