1.Online registration will be available until October 21, 2019. Attendees must be pre-registered. On-site registration is not available
2.There will be no refund of fees for cancellation after October 14, 2019.
3.We expect conference participants to attend the entire conference, arriving prior to the first set of Working Group Breakouts on Thursday (November 14 at 4:30 PM) and departing after the meeting conclusion on Saturday (November 16 at 2:00 PM).
4.There are a limited number of Resident/Fellow registration slots available. A travel reimbursement of up to $375 to cover expenses related to conference participation will be available for approved trainees and some junior faculty*. Residents, Fellows, and Junior Faculty applying for support are required to submit a paragraph about their career goals and the role that research will play in their career. Be sure to complete the text field in the registration form to be considered. Trainees who are approved for travel reimbursement will be notified by mid-late October with further direction for submitting reimbursement requests.
5. Lodging Policies:
Policies for Active PeDRA Members, Non-Members, Federal Employees, Residents & Fellows
- PeDRA will make all hotel arrangements. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR ROOM DIRECTLY WITH THE HOTEL.
- PeDRA will pre-pay for room and tax for the nights of Thursday, November 14 and Friday, November 15 only for attendees who select to share a room. Guests will still be required to provide a credit card at the time of check-in to cover any incidental charges (i.e. room service, telephone calls, etc.). Roommates should split these incidental charges at their discretion.
- PeDRA will not cover any cost for non-shared rooms. If you select a single (non-shared) room, PeDRA will make the appropriate billing arrangements directly with the hotel. You will be required to provide a credit card at the time of check-in to cover all room and tax, as well as incidental charges.
- Guests staying overnight may also take advantage of the following hotel concessions: $1 discounted guest room WiFi and $20 discounted overnight parking. These charges are the responsibility of the attendee(s).
- If a room must be reserved after the cut-off date of October 23, 2019, PeDRA will only cover the cost of the room up to the discounted $149 rate. Any difference in price is the responsibility of the individuals sharing the room.
Policies for Representatives of Advocacy Organizations and Industry Partners
- All advocacy organization and industry representatives should contact PeDRA before registering to confirm eligibility to attend and to determine whether they are eligible to receive complimentary registration.
- PeDRA will make all hotel arrangements. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR ROOM DIRECTLY WITH THE HOTEL.
- PeDRA will not cover any cost of lodging. While PeDRA will make your hotel room reservation for you, you will be required to provide a credit card at the time of check-in to cover all room and tax, as well as incidental charges.

6. Priority consideration will be given to abstracts on which PeDRA Active Members are included as an author.
7. All abstract submissions are due by September 20, 2019.
8. Residents, Fellows, and Investigators are encouraged to submit an abstract for the conference. Abstracts for proposed NEW Projects as well as ONGOING Projects will be considered for discussion during the Working Group Breakout Sessions. The submitting author may also select to be considered for the Scientific Poster Session, but is not required. Authors of Ongoing Projects may also select to be considered for an oral presentation during a Plenary Session. Abstracts for COMPLETED Projects can be considered for presentation during the Scientific Poster Session and/or Plenary Session, and may also select to be discussed during the Working Group Breakout Sessions. 9. Patient Advocacy Organizations are asked to prepare their top clinical questions and research priorities for their respective disease areas. These questions will help workgroups in their breakout sessions. Please contact Mike Siegel for details.
10. Photography / Video Release: Photos and video will be taken during the 7th PeDRA Annual Conference. By registering for the conference, you agree to grant PeDRA permission to use your image for use in future publications, media, or other materials at the sole discretion of PeDRA. If you do not wish to grant PeDRA permission to use your image for these purposes, written notification must be received prior to the start of the conference. Send your request to Conference Staff.
11.Industry colleagues: For detailed policy regarding industry engagement at the Annual Conference, please contact Mike Siegel12. Students and Other Trainees: If you are a graduate student, medical student, or pre-dermatology trainee and are interested in attending the PeDRA Annual Conference, you must meet the following criteria:
- You are not already a dermatology-trained fellow or resident. If you are already trained in dermatology, please register as a regular Resident or Fellow
- You must be a listed contributor to a PeDRA research project or author on an abstract submitted to the 2019 PeDRA Annual Conference.
- You must submit a short paragraph about how you are involved with the PeDRA research project.
- You must submit a letter of recommendation/verification from a current PeDRA member who is attending the annual conference. The PeDRA member must verify that you play a pivotal role in the research and explain how you will benefit from attending the conference.
Please use the Student Registration Application Form to submit the information requested above. Applications and associated materials must be submitted by September 13, 2019. Applications will be reviewed by the Conference Committee and you will be notified of your participation status by September 30, 2019. Please do not register prior to submitting your Application Form and receiving approval to participate in the Conference.
Due to logistical constraints, PeDRA can only accept a limited number of students to attend the conference. Priority will be given to students who are Trainee Members of PeDRA, followed by non-member research fellows and graduate students; other non-member students will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Students will receive the trainee registration rate of $50. All approved students are permitted to attend all sessions as listed in the agenda and may receive pre-paid lodging, should they elect to stay with a roommate (see above). Travel funding may be available; however, priority is given to Resident and Fellow registrants only.
