August 15, 2024 – PeDRA awards Emerging Investigator Research Grants (EIRGs) to five trainees through its June 2024 application cycle, totaling $25,000 in funding for the second round of this competitive program.
Now in its second year, the EIRG program supports research projects that aim to create more equitable and accessible mentored research opportunities for a diverse group of trainees interested in pediatric dermatology. With three applications cycles in 2024, in March, June, and September, PeDRA is calling for proposals from medical students or pediatric residents to conduct four-to-twelve-week mentored projects, either remotely or in person. Successful applicants receive a budget to cover project and living expenses and a stipend to attend the 2024 PeDRA Annual Conference. Applications for the third and final round of the 2024 EIRG program are due on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
