1.Online registration will be available until October 5, 2018. Attendees must be pre-registered. On-site registration is not available
2.There will be no refund of fees for cancellation after October 1, 2018.
3.We expect conference participants to attend the entire conference, arriving prior to the keynote dinner on Thursday (October 25 at 6:00 PM) and departing after the meeting conclusion on Saturday (October 27 at 2:00 PM).
4.There are a limited number of Resident/Fellow registration slots available. A travel scholarship to cover expenses related to conference participation will be available for trainees and some junior faculty*. Residents, Fellows, and Junior Faculty applying for support are required to submit a paragraph about their career goals and the role that research will play in their career. Be sure to complete the text field in the registration form to be considered.
5.Abstracts should only be submitted by PeDRA Active Members or residents/fellows/junior faculty/research associates in collaboration with Active Members.
6.Abstracts for Ongoing/Completed projects are due by September 7, 2018.
7.Abstracts for New/Recruiting projects are due by September 24, 2018.
8.Residents, Fellows, and Investigators are encouraged to submit an abstract for the conference. Abstracts of proposed projects will be discussed by the disease breakout groups, and abstracts of ongoing and/or completed PeDRA projects will be presented in the scientific poster session and considered for oral presentation. 9.Patient Advocacy Organizations are asked to prepare their top clinical questions and research priorities for their respective disease areas. These questions will help workgroups in their breakout sessions. Please contact Sheila Rittenberg for details.
10.Photography / Video Release: Photos and video will be taken during the 6th PeDRA Annual Conference. By registering for the conference, you agree to grant PeDRA permission to use your image for use in future publications, media, or other materials at the sole discretion of PeDRA. If you do not wish to grant PeDRA permission to use your image for these purposes, written notification must be received prior to the start of the conference. Send your request to Chezka Solon.
11.Industry colleagues: For detailed policy regarding industry engagement at the Annual Conference, please contact Sheila Rittenberg
- You must be a listed author on a PeDRA research project.
- You must submit a letter of recommendation/verification from a current PeDRA member who is attending the annual conference. The PeDRA member must verify that you play a pivotal role in the research and explain how you will benefit from attending the conference. The letter of recommendation must be received by September 30, 2018. Please email it to Chezka Solon
*Financial support for lodging is not available to advocacy or industry partners. No other financial support (i.e. travel, transportation or M&IE) is offered.
**Junior faculty within the first 2 years of practice and attending the meeting for the first time.
