In one short year, the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA) has become the unified voice for pediatric dermatology research. The Alliance has established an annual meeting of physicians, scientists, and patient advocacy groups that is a key milestone to achieving better treatment and curing dermatologic diseases in infants, children and adolescents. This meeting will identify gaps and challenges in the current practice, and pave the way through collaborative work to more clinical, translational, and basic science research that can lead to better solutions and cures for the many difficult diseases our patients endure.
We enthusiastically announce the inaugural PeDRA Annual Conference, October 18-20, 2013, in Chicago at the Westin O’Hare Hotel. Please consider joining leaders in the field and dermatology colleagues who will engage in groundbreaking discussions and planning at this formative meeting. Please note: PeDRA has obtained funding to offset the cost of this conference and will subsidize a limited number of registrants. To be considered for financial support, please register early!
To support the collaborative goals of PeDRA, all participants attending the Annual Conference are being asked to submit a brief proposal for a research project or clinical challenge. This submission is strongly encouraged. Active participation is necessary for a productive meeting! Attendees are encouraged to collaborate with others in formulating their proposals.
