Join your PeDRA colleagues October 26-28, at the Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center and be in the forefront of design and initiation of important studies that will advance the science of pediatric dermatology and ultimately, provide new solutions to our young patients.
More than 120 clinicians, researchers, government leaders and patient advocacy representatives will gather to discuss study ideas, hear updates on collaborative projects already launched, and learn about best practices in multicenter research and novel approaches in basic and translational research with multicenter applications.

Early Investigator Forum: Effectively Selling Your Science
• The Early Investigator Forum is targeted to trainees and junior faculty, but it is open to all PeDRA members. Investigators interested in more effectively conveying their scientific message and “selling” their science will find this session valuable.
• PLEASE NOTE: The Early Investigator Forum is being held before the main PeDRA meeting. Travels should be planned accordingly for attendance.
Dinner Presentation featuring Melissa Marshall, Talk Nerdy to Me
Scientists and engineers are society’s best hope for solving some of the world’s most complex, stubborn problems. However, sometimes it’s difficult effectively relaying their ideas and research. Communications expert Melissa Marshall will offer some much-needed tips to the whiz kids who frequently find their ideas met with blank faces. View a preview here.
HOTEL & TRAVEL
A block of hotel rooms has been arranged at the Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center. PeDRA will cover hotel accommodations for the nights of Thursday, October 26 and Friday, October 27 for attendees who share a room*. If you wish to have a room of your own (no roommate), PeDRA will still arrange for your room at the Hyatt; however, PeDRA cannot cover the cost of the room. Upon registration, participants are required to submit their lodging requests. As the date of the conference approaches, participants will receive their final lodging details from Chezka Solon, the PeDRA Conference Manager.
IMPORTANT: Please do not book a room with the hotel directly.
Transportation: The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle to/from the Denver International Airport. Please refer to the hotel’s transportation page for public transit and other transportation options.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS — Due September 7, 2017
To support the collaborative goals of PeDRA, investigators attending the Annual Conference are strongly encouraged to submit a brief abstract for a current research project, a new pilot project, or a longer range/visionary proposal. Active participation is necessary for a productive meeting! Attendees are encouraged to collaborate with others in formulating their proposals – abstracts should be submitted by PeDRA Active Members or residents/fellows/junior faculty/research associates in collaboration with Active Members.
